| About Us |
Our story…Every journey starts with a first step and if we each take that step, we travel a whole lot faster…
The internet is fantastic. It connects the world, educates us, and occasionally, infuriates us. But, one of the things that we like most about the internet is that small efforts can add up really fast. That’s why we created Gearch, a community that allows anyone to help the environment by surfing the web. It’s a simple idea. We believe that Gearch will be a part of a continual process of living in, learning about and improving the environment. Who are we?We're not a bunch of green superheroes. We’re just a few regular folks that figured making our everyday actions into ones that are good for the environment would be quite nice. We are not about creating world peace (that might come later), but we do believe we can make a difference by compounding small efforts of many people to make real changes while also building awareness on the green issue.
So, who are the first Gearchers? We are a team of five who met through London Business School. Among us, we have seven nationalities, work experience in over 20 countries and six industries, and one pair of dodgy sunglasses. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We are all passionate about Gearch and between schoolwork, rugby, foosball, learning Arabic or sailing, we hope we can make you passionate about Gearch too. We want to make it easy for people to do something good for the environment and make Gearch as much a part of your life as it is a part of ours.
